Good Morning Class 4!

 

Today is our last school day before half term and it is Chinese New Year

so we are going to enjoy a theme day today.

We are going to learn about Chinese New Year and I would like you to

share some of your

new knowledge this afternoon in our class Zoom session.

Create a fact file about Chinese New Year.

Include: 

  • facts about China
  • What is Chinese New Year?  
  • Why is it celebrated?
  • How is it celebrated?
  • Why is it called the Year of the Ox? What does this mean?
  • Any other interesting facts you can find.

 

Remember to organise your work into paragraphs. Can you include a heading and some sub-headings? Can you include a picture with a caption?

Remember our writing targets - read back your work when you have finished to check for missing capital letters, full stops and spelling errors.
