We use commas to separate items in a list - apart from the last two items when we use and.

  1. Watch the video below (Sorry that it's not me today Year 2 - I had some technical difficulties!)
  2. Look at the sentences on the worksheet below. Write these into your home learning book, changing the sentence so that it includes commas for a list.

Anti-Bullying Week

 

Today is the first day of our anti-bullying week! Watch the video to listen to the story of 'Monty the Manatee'.

 

The other sea creatures were not very nice to him were they! We wouldn't want anyone in our class to feel like that would we!

  1. Write a set of 10 rules that would help to stop bullying and make sure that everyone feels happy in our class.

  2. Write down what you think would be most important to keep everyone safe and happy e.g. Think about how your words might make someone feel before you say them.
