Phonics (optional)

If you feel as though your child would benefit from continuing phonics practise, please use the links below.

Similarly, if you would like to use these activities instead of or in addition to the reading practise above, please feel free to do so.

LO: To make inferences about a character's thoughts and feelings.

Today, we are going to read Chapter 6 and 7 of 'A Right Royal Disaster'. We are going to be thinking about the different characters in these chapters and what they might be thinking and feeling.

  1. Listen to Chapter 6 and 7 on the video below.
  2. Choose two of the characters below. Write down what each of the characters (Bob, Barry or Theodore Duck) might say, think or feel during these chapters. Use the templates below as a guide. You can either print these out and write onto the sheets, use the worksheet versions on Class Dojo or just write your answer for each character in your home learning book.

LO: To make arrays.

Play 'Hit the Button' to practise your number bonds to 10, 20 and 100. What's your highest score?

Watch the video below. You might need to pause the video to do some working out. Write your answers into your remote learning book.

If you would like some extra practise, you can complete the questions on the worksheet below either by printing out the worksheet, writing on top on the worksheet via activities on Class Dojo, or by writing your answers into your remote learning book.
