LO: To innovate a story problem, resolution and ending, keeping features of ‘A Right Royal Disaster’.

 

Today, we are going to be planning our own version of the story 'A Right Royal Disaster'. 

What do you think would have happened if Bob would have bought a different gift?

What would have happened if Queen Battleaxe didn't find her Father?

How could the story have ended differently?

 

Using the 'Story Mountain' template, plan a different, problem, resolution and ending to the story. Remember to fill in the characters and the setting too!

 

Task:

  1. Think about what happened in the original story (have a look at your story map from last week to help you).
  2. Plan a new problem, resolution and ending to the story - use the template to help you.

Today, we are going to compare Christopher Columbus and Amelia Earhart. We are going to be thinking about how their lives and achievements were the same/different and why.

 

Task:

  1. Remind yourself of the key information for Christopher Columbus and Amelia Earhart by watching the videos below.
