Mrs Saunders is our Year 5 teacher.

Mrs Corkish and Mrs Dunleavey are our Year 5 teaching assistants.

Class Dojo

News and updates are posted for parents/ carers on our Year 5 Class Dojo page. If you don't currently have a login, please speak to Mrs Saunders.

In Year 5 we have PE every Friday. Please ensure children come to school in their PE kits.

PE kits should be a plain white top, plain dark shorts or joggers and dark trainers. School jumpers or cardigans can be worn over the top.

Reading Books

We encourage children to read every day. Children have a home reading book carefully matched to their level of fluency and understanding. It is important that children bring this book to school each day.

Once they have finished reading the book, please discuss the text with your child and explore any questions which are suggested in the book to help develop their comprehension skills.

Children also have access to our class library and school library. We spend 15 minutes every afternoon quiet reading for pleasure in class.
