Pupil Premium Funding
Pupil Premium is funding in addition to the school’s budget.
The Government provides schools with additional pupil premium funding to support children:
* from low income families who are or have been eligible for free school meals
* who have been in care continuously for more than six months
* children with parents in the armed forces ( or who have been in the armed services in the past).
We encourage everyone who may be eligible to make an application for Free School meals as if it is successful, the school receives additional Pupil Premium funding. This still has to be applied for even if your child gets a free school meal in KS1.

Catch Up Premium Funding
During the academic years 2020-2022 the government provided funding called ‘Catch-up Premium’ as a direct response to the Coronavirus Pandemic. This was split into two payments across the two school years.
It aims to support pupils to catch up for lost learning so schools can meet the curriculum expectations for the next academic year.
