The government's 2022 white paper lays out plans for mainstream state-funded schools to provide a 32.5-hour week, or 6.5-hour days, by September 2023.
Your child is able to come into their classroom from 8.35 a.m. onwards and a member of staff will also be on the entrance to supervise your child from 8.35 a.m. Before this time your child is your responsibility. It is not safe therefore for children to be dropped off at school too early.
